The Shooting Line Cast

I Watched a guy fly fishing whilst carrying out this cast, it looked quite difficult to me. Seems like you have to have alot of skill plenty of line and patience. Me I would probably have the line around my neck in no time. But I must say that it has made for a good painting, I mostly enjoyed experimenting with the Mountains. I had a short trip to Scotland and was able to get some Idea of their presence within the landscape.

Colour

I have also experimented with the colour in this painting, using plenty of Purple and Mauves, and also attempting to put feeling into the fly fisherman casting his line.
