The Parade Ring.

I painted this one in abstract style for a demonstration. The result was so surprising. The background colours were painted first. Then the jockey and groom. The people in the crowd enhanced the finished result.

A Brilliant Race Horse.

Watching the runners and riders in the show ring before the race is always enjoyable. I attended a race at Kempton one evening in 20015. The low sun lit up the evening giving me the idea of this painting,  I chose a  horse owned by one of the friends called Doyouneedahand. It won at 25/1. and I had £10 on. Going home happy with a great idea of a painting.
