Dorset Artist

I have lived in Dorset all my life and viewed this scene many times. I have always wanted to paint a picture like this.  The beaches in Dorset are a perfect place in the summer to enjoy a relaxing time and therefore I have attempted portray this within my painting.

On The Beach

Now at last I have managed to use my palette knives to do so. I have painted this in a rough genre, using plenty of oil paint on the canvas, mixing as I went. therefore enjoying  the abstract result, Two children enjoying play in the sand on a very hot summers day in Dorset. Perfect.
