Under pressure today, have to finish a commission of studland, Old Harry Rocks. Its so interesting, the mind set of painting a commission. As when I just produce a painting, its whats in my mind that counts. But a commission comes from the clients mind, and you have to, hopefully think of their image, and what they expect the painting to be. This one is a theme of the photo above, the client wants it to be clear of people, with Old Harry in the background. Just couch grass and sand in the foreground. I believe the colours will make it. So here goes, watch this space. I’ll be interested to know, how many like my rendition of the scene. I’ll post as soon as complete.
