My Eye Opening Cock Blackbird is painted with palette knife in oil paint, I have used a rough genre with this painting, to depict the shaking of the feathers after dunking himself in a birdbath, I have used a different method with the paint, and used thicker paint to depict the movement of the feathers from the wet body. drawing it away from the canvas for more reality of the actions.
